On page 128, it states, "On the basis of physical
appearance it could be safely assumed between the seventh and eighteenth
centuries , that an individual with an elaborate wig, silk clothing and a
painted face was an aristocrat (Greenblatt, 2004)." I was inspired by this
quote and Andy Warhol's usage of a wig and makeup for his self portrait in
drag. I then edited it as if I used Andy Warhol's notable style, photographic
silkscreen printing.
