| Enriched Privation |
My selfie was inspired by the ideas I read from Society of the Spectacle and from the works of Shantell Martin. I created a digital selfie drawing called Enriched Privation. "The spectacle is not a collection of images; it is a social relation between people that is mediated by images." The spectacle is not a collection of stars; it is a social relation between people that is mediated by images. The spectacle widens and gets worse over time. Privation means you live without necessary things. Enriched privation means the privation you have is improved by something added to it.
